Award Holders for The Duke of York Community Initiative
The Duke of York's Community Initiative 2007 Award HoldersOverview
The aim of the group is to enable children who may not adapt into a regular Scout group enjoy what Scouting has to offer.
Further Information
At Scoutlink we aim to run Scouting activities suitable for all children particularly those with any special needs. We do not have separate Beaver and Cub Sections so we wear a red shirt and use a mixture of themes from the Beaver and Cub sections.
Each programme is designed primarily for participation and involvement, it is also much more about young people having a go rather than passing tests or achieving a particular standard. It can therefore be an enjoyable and rewarding experiences for any young person whatever their ability.
The group, meets on the 1st Monday of every month even if this falls on a Bank Holiday at the Hambleton Forum in Northallerton from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm.
The leadership team is drawn from existing leaders and young leaders from Northallerton and Teesside.
