Schools are the base of our community. Here at the Duke of York Community Initiative we actively work alongside schools to promote community initiative awareness and best practice and empower the children to take on initiatives of their own.

We encourage schools to take ownership of their communities, both students and educators. If your school is involved in or is actively supporting your Yorkshire community, please send us a brief outline of the details and we may feature your story on the website. We are always delighted to promote initiatives and activities that have gone the extra mile.
