Café 100 - West Yorkshire

Overview
AIM To provide facilities for education and recreation or other leisure time occupations for young people aged between eleven and seventeen in Holmfirth and surrounding area.

Further Information
Café 100 is led and developed principally by the young people who attend. They discuss with the youth leaders how they wish to develop and operate. Trustees are all local people who meet on a regular basis. The Café is highly respected by local businesses that support fund raising ventures willingly. 135 young people are registered at the moment which is indicative of its popularity. The Project is known out with the area as well and actively promoted by Kirklees Young People Services. Café 100 is based in the choir vestry of Holmfirth Parish Church and is equipped with facilities for drinks, snacks, Internet access, computer games and pool. From time to time special evenings are arranged.
