The outstanding Community Leadership Awards were initiated at the behest of His Royal Highness, as a means of recognising and rewarding individuals who demonstrated that they were leaders whose enthusiasm, drive and determination played a key role in the successes of the community schemes they led. The criteria for this award are very stringent and require the highest standards from potential award holders. Because they share so many of the qualities we salute today, a mere repetition of similar citations would not do justice to their achievements..
